Riverbank FCU Hosts Annual Meeting and Celebration

Credit unions exist to serve a greater purpose by supporting their members and strengthening the communities they call home. As a not-for-profit financial institution, Riverbank Federal Credit Union is committed to putting people first. That focus remains at the core of everything we do. We strive to meet the evolving needs of both current and future members while staying grounded in the values of the credit union movement, built on the principle of people helping people. We are proud to support our community in a variety of ways, including donating to local charities and volunteering our time. Our members are part of that community and the heart of our organization, and their voices help shape the direction we take.

On May 19, Riverbank held its Annual Meeting, an opportunity for members to stay informed and engaged. As a member-owned, democratic organization, each member has an equal vote, so every voice is heard. The meeting highlighted the credit union’s performance over the past year and gave members the chance to have a say in how the credit union operates.

Following the meeting, Riverbank hosted its Annual Celebration, a free community event open to both members and non-members. Attendees enjoyed free food from the Rolling Smokehouse and entertainment by Milestone Entertainment, whose support we greatly appreciate. The event also featured a Q&A panel with our volunteer Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee, giving attendees insight into how the credit union operates and encouraging open dialogue.
