Dutch Point Credit Union Announces Winners of 2018 Scholarship
Dutch Point CU is pleased to announce that five scholarship recipients have been selected to receive $1,000 each through the Dorothy J. Sullivan Scholarship program.
The 2018 scholarship winners standing left to right include Jessica Buslewicz of Newington High School, Simon O’Neil of Granby Memorial High School, and Katharine Ryan of Nathan Hale-Ray High. Seated left to right is Grace Calla of Newington High School and Rachel Raymond of Bristol Central High School.
“Part of our mission as a community-based credit union is to provide education and financial awareness in the communities we serve. Recognizing local students for their hard work and dedication is one way of supporting the growth and future of our youth,” stated Francis R.N. Proto, President and CEO.
The scholarships were available to Dutch Point Credit Union members and were awarded based on academic record, leadership qualities and community involvement. This year’s scholarship winners were honored during a reception held at the Wethersfield Main Office on June 6, 2018.
