Connecticut's Credit Unions

Hartford-area credit unions donate $2,000 to Disabled American Veterans Chapter 17

As part of their commitment to the community, Hartford-area credit unions in Connecticut recently donated $2,000 to Disabled American Veterans Chapter 17 (DAV). Credit union representatives visited a DAV meeting in December 2017 and learned more about their efforts supporting veterans.

DAV is a nonprofit charity that provides a lifetime of support for veterans of all generations and their families, helping more than 1 million veterans nationwide in positive, life-changing ways each year. DAV is a leader in connecting veterans with meaningful employment, hosting job fairs and providing resources to ensure they have the opportunity to participate in the American Dream their sacrifices have made possible.
