Philip Used a Credit Union to Help Afford College

"I have had an account with SoundView Financial Credit Union since high school. My parents have been members since 1989 and I chose to also start a financial relationship with the credit union. To help pay for college, I obtained student loans from SoundView. They offered the most competitive interest rates and payment plans compared to the banks in my area. I chose to continue to use the credit union while attending college out of state because of their helpfulness and accessibility. In May 2015, I graduated from The Citadel and I will be going into the Peace Corps this summer and will continue to use the credit union as I begin to pay off my student loan debt.
