Sikorsky Credit Union Donates $18,000 During Holiday Season
Sikorsky Credit Union held their annual holiday toy drive at each of their branches to donate to local non-profit organizations. Along with the toy donation, Sikorsky Credit Union made an additional monetary donation.
The toy drive raised over 120 toys for children, donated to the Community Action Agency of Western Connecticut, YMCA Lakewood Trumbull, Sterling House, Boys & Girls Club of Milford, Danbury Youth Services, McGivney Center, and the Boys and Girls Club of Lower Naugatuck Valley. Each of these non-profits, along with The Housatonic Habitat for Humanity and Seymour Pink, received a $2,000 monetary donation from Sikorsky Credit Union.
Diane Potkay Lenskold, Director of Development at the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Naugatuck Valley said, “Sikorsky Credit Union has helped our Club throughout the year by sponsoring and volunteering at our events, and now during the holidays, are donating toys for our Club kids and making an incredibly generous charitable contribution. We feel blessed to have companies, like Sikorsky Credit Union, that partner with us and enable us to provide life-changing programs for kids throughout the Valley.”
Sikorsky Credit Union’s President and CEO Vincent Ciambriello said, “We are grateful to our members and employees who donated toys for each non-profit organization. These non-profits do incredible work for our community and we are happy to make an additional donation to their causes.”
Lenskold added, “Together, we can help kids reach their full potential. Sikorsky Credit Union is making our community a better place to live.”
